Steve is an officer of Strickland & Jones, P.C. and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. Steve has over twenty years of public accounting experience. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Denison University with majors in Mathematics and Economics. Steve has taken various accounting courses from Old Dominion University. Steve has served as president of the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council and the Hampton Roads Tax Forum.

Steve works with business owners and individuals, assisting them with accounting, tax planning, estate planning, business valuations, represents clients before various taxing authorities and general business consulting. Before his career in public accounting, Steve served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy.

Steve has a Life and Health Insurance license in Virginia.

Steve is active in several professional and civic organizations. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Norfolk, Hampton Roads Tax Forum and the Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council. He serves as treasurer of the Hampton Roads Civil War Round Table.
