Wendy Bookhout is a Director with Strickland & Jones, P.C. with over 36 years experience in accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. She also worked for three years as finance director for a non-profit organization.

Wendy was a partner in a local CPA firm prior to joining Strickland & Jones, P.C. Wendy's varied experience enables her to provide all levels of accounting, tax and consulting services. Her experience includes planning, performing, supervising and review of compilations, reviews and audits, as well as various business consulting and special engagements. Wendy also has extensive experience with individual income, estate, and gift taxes.

Wendy is a Past President of the Hampton Roads Estate Planning Council, is active with the Alzheimer's Association and is treasurer of the Rudee Inlet Condo Association.
